Wanderlust Bay Scholarship

Wanderlust Bay Scholarship

There’s so much pressure in college.  Choose a major.  Decide what you want to do with the rest of your life.  Spend a boat load on classes and books on subjects that might not hold any usefulness to you in your career or life.

The point of this scholarship is to recognize that you may not be passionate about your chosen profession or career.  The fact remains too many art majors work at Starbucks, too many political science majors sell insurance and too many business majors working entry level jobs making barely minimum wage.

The founder of Wanderlust Bay spent 4 years in college, 3 years in law school and tens of thousands of dollars only to realize practicing law was not his passion.  He now performs weddings full-time on beautiful Caribbean beaches.  He started his 2nd career on the weekends while practicing law.

He paid a web designer $547 to build a website for his side gig officiating weddings.  That side gig grew into a career and a passion.

So this scholarship is meant to put $547 in your pocket to set aside to fund your side gig so you can find your passion.
